CMS at the movies

Students from the Currier Memorial School (CMS) traveled by bus to Springfield, Vermont to see the motion picture adaptation of “The Wild Robot.” Last March, all six schools of the Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union (BRSU) participated in an “All District” read of this popular children’s novel with themes of friendship, family, and helping others.

Currier was the first BRSU school to see the motion picture that premiered on September 27th. All schools are scheduled for a day at the movies during October.

“The movie was amazing and our students were incredible,” said CMS Principal Carolyn Parillo. “We had a fantastic time!”
