Students returning to Flood Brook this year were met by a handful of new faces that will become household names in the weeks ahead. This notice highlights three of the five new teachers (from left to right in the photo above):

Maria French, Art Instructor: Raised in Burlington, Maria traveled around the world before returning to Vermont as an art teacher. She most recently taught at the Currier Memorial School and makes her home in nearby Wallingford.

Joanna Pfister, Speech and Language Pathologist: No stranger here, Joanna attended Flood Brook as a student growing up in the mountain towns. After earning degrees from Northeastern and George Washington she returns to her old school where her daughter is a member of the Kindergarten class. Joanna and her family make Weston their home.

Erica Bizaoui, Middle School Science Teacher: Erica earned degrees in Environmental Sciences in New England at Johnson State and Antioch University. Erica resides with her family in Ludlow and most recently taught at the Riverside Middle School in Springfield.

Favorite Food: Brunch
