One of our 8th graders was one of three 8th graders who successfully decoded the Zimmerman telegram while studying the United States' entry into World War I. The three students were entered into a drawing for different prizes and he walked away with a $25 gift card to Northshire Book Store! Thanks to our generous anonymous community donor for providing the "grand prize!"
