They came by foot, on bikes, by car and on the school bus. Many sported new backpacks and cool sneakers. More than a few parents tagged along for one last hug and bye-bye. Their sweet faces beamed with excitement. “I couldn’t sleep at all last night!” one student exclaimed to a friend.
